In this week’s episode of the SIMPLE brand podcast, I talk with Bryan Kramer, author of There is No B2B or B2C: It’s Human to Human #H2H.
We’ve become so used to referencing things by categories that we do the same when referring to those individuals that we interact with – to those that we serve. And we need to remind ourselves that these categories of individuals are actually people.
They’re real people with real goals, real challenges, real struggles and real problems. And they all want experiences that recognize them as real people – real humans.
That’s why I had such a fun time talking with Bryan Kramer this week.
Bryan is the co-Founder of H2H Companies: Human 2 Human. As Bryan describes it – when it comes down to it, there really is no B2B, there’s no B2C. The experience you should be delivering is really H2H – human to human.
Bryan’s also a business performance coach, a keynote speaker, a TED speaker, and a contributor to Forbes.
And Bryan’s the author of two bestselling books, Human-To-Human and Shareology.
Bryan and I talk about his lessons on humanizing our business experiences through simpler communication, empathy, and even celebrating our imperfections.
Some of the topics we discuss include:
- Why more human touchpoints are valuable in your customer experience
- How Walt Disney mapped out human interactions throughout the Disneyland “customer journey”
- Bryan’s 3 pillars to creating human experiences
- The difference between human touchpoints and personalization
- Celebrating imperfection by taking ownership of mistakes
- The value of an “underdog spirit” for your brand
- How more human experiences through leadership are needed in the employee experience
- Using deeper listening to create more human connections
